Welcome to the Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine (BB/TM) Fellowship Program in the department of pathology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. This program is accredited through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, or ACGME. We are proud to offer one of only two ACGME-accredited blood banking/transfusion medicine (BB/TM) fellowship programs in the state of Florida. The program is designed to provide a quality experience in the broad discipline of blood banking and transfusion medicine so that upon completing the program the fellow will be prepared for a career in a blood center or in a hospital transfusion service, either in an academic center or in a community hospital.
